After 18 November, the airport in Radom will not operate regular passenger flights. In October – due to a lack of passengers – Czech Airlines stopped their last flights between Radom and Prague.

Now Air Baltic has announced it will give up its flights between Radom and Riga, Latvia on 18 November.

Currently the budget airline operates three flights a week to and from the airport – on Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

They started these flights to the Radom airport in September.

“The reason for this decision is the small number of passengers going from Radom to the capital of Latvia and back,” Kajetan Orzeł, the spokesperson for the company in charge of the airport said.

He added that the Radom Airport will try to soon launch new, attractive destinations. (rg/di/rk)
