The venture will be Google's fifth startup campus, following openings in London, Tel Aviv, Seoul and Madrid.

“Campus Warsaw will welcome entrepreneurs from all over Poland and be a hub for startups in the Central and Eastern European region,” enthused Rafal Plutecki, Head of Campus Warsaw, in a statement released by Google.

Our global network provides international connections and opportunities for entrepreneurs, and we can't wait to lead programs and create amazing content for founders of all kinds,” he added.

The Warsaw campus will be located in the Praga Koneser Center, a recently renovated late 19th century building that hosts a variety of enterprises, as well as flats.

A sixth Google startup campus is due to be launched in San Paulo in 2016. (nh/rk)
