“We should not put the brakes on the automotive industry in Poland, but mobilise it,” Piechociński said.

“We should not spoil anything, but simply give the sector what it needs: human resources, large resources for development and an understanding of the current operation standards, for which we need a new framework for business law.

"We should also take advantage of special zones economic, not only to attract foreign investors, but above all to create the most attractive and cheapest forms of capital investment,” Piechociński told the PAP news agency on Saturday.

The Economy Minister praised the high level of the Polish motoring industry. “In Europe, we are at the forefront in terms of components and car accessories. This is now beginning to be a predominant feature [in the industry],” he said, adding that there is a potential for growth. (rg/rk)
