“Poland is still in the game as regards a certain Asian investor,” Piechociński told journalists on Friday.
“Our remaining rival is Slovakia,” he added.
It has been claimed that the investor is Indian manufacturer Tata Motors, which recently took over Jaguar Land Rover.
“The investor is planning to launch the factory in 2019,” Piechociński said.
“Ultimately it is supposed to produce 350,000 cars per year,” he said, adding that the investment is worth PLN 7 billion. (nh)
