Jarosław Janecki, the Chief economist at Societe Generale, indicates that situations as elections sometimes have an impact on investor sentiment.
The expert predicts that in the near future, the EUR/PLN rate will remain similar to current levels, but before the second round of elections, the situation on the currency market could become volatile.
Janecki added that an even greater uncertainty among investors will be observed before the autumn parliamentary elections.
At the time of publishing, the EUR/PLN level was 4.1018, while the USD/PLN was 3.6514. (rg)
