“We could potentially create an alliance with a Polish manufacturer or distributor or invest in a processing plant,” Lin Jieben told the Puls Biznesu daily.

“The possibilities are many, and we will analyse various scenarios.

“One of them is a debut on European stock exchanges,” he added.

“Warsaw, where investors have a good understanding of companies from our industry, is one of the possibilities,” he said.

Lixing Group is China's second biggest producer of canned foods, and the country's biggest asparagus producer.

It is already a key supplier for German supermarket Lidl. (nh)
