Compared with April 2014, the level has dropped by 0.5 percent, according to statistics published by the Central Statistical Office (GUS).
Labour Minister Wladysław Kosiniak-Kamysz forecast that the level could fall below 12 percent this summer.
“Credit rating agencies are predicting good economic growth for Poland,” he said.
“This may be a signal that the desire to employ will continue,” he added.
There are currently 1.98 million people registered as unemployed in Poland. (nh)
