World's cheapest five-star hotels in Warsaw

A survey has found that the Polish capital is the cheapest place in the world to enjoy five-star accommodation over the next six months.

According to accommodation web site Hotels.com, prices at Warsaw's top notch hotels have fallen by 17 percent since last year.

The survey noted that the average cost of a standard room in the Polish capital's five-star venues is 124.45 US dollars.

Prices have also been leaning in the Italian city of Pisa, which comes second on the list, with an average of 176.59 dollars per night.

In third place was Tallinn, Estonia's capital, were travellers can snap up a five-star room for 185 dollars.

The web site stressed that generally speaking, the five-star market has seen a dip in prices across the globe in 2013. (nh)
