Multikino, which was launched in 1995, is currently the second biggest cinema operator in Poland, with 28 multiplexes in Poland and two more in the Baltic states.
Current Multikino owner the ITI Group, which also owns Poland's TVN television network, confirmed the forthcoming sale in a statement released on Monday.
The ITI Group was founded by late businessman Jan Wejchert in 1983, coming into its own following the fall of communism in 1989.
Beyond the UK, Vue Entertainment has already made inroads into Denmark, Germany, Portugal and Japan. (nh)
