A new survey released by PBS pollsters shows that 81 percent of foreign fans in Poland for Euro 2012 will visit the country again, while 92 percent declared they will recommend Poland as a destination to their friends.
85 percent of foreign visitors declared they feel safe in the Polish Euro 2012 host cities, with the poll revealing that 60 percent of respondents had never been to Poland before.
The poll was staged following the first two opening matches, with another set to be conducted early next week, following another round of group matches.
The poll was undertaken for the PL.2012 company, which is responsible for the organisation of the Euro 2012 tournament in the country.
The survey was conducted on a group of 2005 foreign tourists in all four Polish host cities and comprising fans of teams playing both in Poland and Ukraine during Euro 2012. (ab/jb)
