Readers of the Times Literary Supplement (UK) have received a nice gift in the latest edition of the magazine - an audiobook with a selection of poems by the Polish Nobel Prize winning poet Czesław Miłosz read by the British comedic actor Stephen Fry.
The audiobook was published in 7, 200 copies.
The selection of the poems was made by the Polish writer and translator Adam Zagajewski.
The Miłosz audiobooks are published by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute within the framework of the cultural programme of the Polish presidency in the Council of the European Union and of the events marking the 100th anniversary of the poet’s birth.
Ten language versions are planned, of which the Dutch one is also ready.
Both the English and Dutch recordings are available at here. (mk)
