Int’l drum fest opens in Poland

The Drums Fusion international percussion festival opens in Bydgoszcz, north-central Poland, on Monday.

Concerts, workshops and parades will be among the attractions at the event.
The star attractions of the festival are drummer Stewart Copeland, bass guitar player Richard Bona and Buena Vista Social Club vocalist Omara Portuondo.
Copeland is best known for his former role as the drummer for the rock band The Police, where he appeared alongside Sting and Andy Summers.
The festival runs until June 2.
