                    A folk music festival hailed by its organizers as Poland’s biggest starts on Thursday in Warsaw.
                
                
                    
                
                
                
               
                
                         The New Tradition (Nowa Tradycja) folk music festival, which is being held for the 22nd time, is organized by public broadcaster Polish Radio to promote traditional and modern forms of folk music.
The festival includes concerts by Polish and foreign bands and a competition for young musicians, all held at the Polish Radio’s Lutosławski Concert Studio.
Admission to the festival, which runs until May 19, is free.
