Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Gliński was expected to attend the event in the United States.

In the one-hour show, entitled Poland: The Royal Tour, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki takes American journalist Peter Greenberg on a tour of some of Poland’s historic landmarks and other important sites.

In addition to the cities of Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk and Wrocław, these include the former Nazi German concentration camp of Auschwitz, a historic salt mine in Wieliczka, the Tatra mountain resort of Zakopane, and a Teutonic Knights castle in Malbork.

Morawiecki is slated to attend screenings of Poland: the Royal Tour at the Lyric Opera in Chicago on Tuesday and at the Guggenheim Museum in New York on Wednesday.

The film will be aired on PBS Television on April 22.

On the Polish side, the Polish National Foundation and producer Piotr Śliwowski were involved in the production of the film.
