Entitled Waiting for another coming, the exhibition was created by 30 Polish and Lithuanian artists.
“The pretext [for the exhibition] was the centenary of our countries regaining independence,” said Marcin Łapczyński, the director of the Polish Institute, which helped organize the show.
The works on display in both countries reflect Polish-Lithuanian ties, the world in general, and the artists’ thoughts on the future, Łapczyński added.
The Polish part of the show opens at the Uzjazdów Castle Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw in October.
