Polish children will be able to learn about their capital city thanks to a new online app.

The app includes riddles and quizzes about some 150 historic buildings and stories about Warsaw.

Created by the CultureLab Foundation, it aims to educate young users and encourage them to visit the city.

"We wanted families with children to have another reason to stroll through Warsaw and take the opportunity to talk about important things, discuss heritage buildings, find out about Warsaw's legends and history," said Monika Miłowska from CultureLab.

The app offers 11 routes focused on a number of themes, such as "the Old Town for detectives" and "the Warsaw Uprising".

The app is available free on tuptuptup.org.pl and zabytki.waw.pl.
