The concert, at the Sinfonia Varsovia Concert Hall, begins at 7 pm and is part of the orchestra’s European tour.
The orchestra, conducted by Hobart Earle, is expected to perform pieces by Latin American composers such as Carlos Chávez and Heitor Villa-Lobos, in addition to music by Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki.
The Orchestra of the Americas has the great tenor Plácido Domingo as its artistic advisor, and its Presidential Council includes former US President George W. Bush.
Public broadcaster Polish Radio has helped organise the event together with the Poland-based Ludwig van Beethoven Association.
