The 30-minute film entitled "The Best Fireworks Ever" focuses on three friends who have to modify their plans for the future in the wake of a military conflict in their homeland.
Terpińska studied psychology at Wrocław University and film directing at the Silesian University in Katowice.
Her script was inspired by the work of famous Polish director and scriptwriter Krzysztof Kieślowski and the Maidan protests in Ukraine.
Terpińska’s previous short films, "All Souls’ Day" and "America", received several awards at festivals in Poland and abroad. (mk/vb)
