Nearly half of Polish students want to run their own business, according to experts from the Academic Business Incubators (AIP).

But only around 20 percent of students start work on launching their own firm while still studying.
AIP director Sebastian Kolisz said that differences are visible between students of the humanities and those who study science and technical subjects.
"Those who have studied the humanities often know how to set up a company and understand legal and financial issues, but sometimes they have a problem with an idea for a profitable product or service,” Kolisz said.
“Meanwhile, those with a technical mind... do well on the market but need encouragement to open their own business and support in financial and legal processes.”
Academic Business Incubators offer practical business training for start-ups. They operate in 24 Polish cities and currently support 2,000 start-ups.
