Cardinal voices concern at Polish crisis

“After 25 years, we are fighting again: this is no good,” he said.

“Peace will come if there is goodwill on all sides. This is what we are praying for,” added the former long-time secretary to Polish-born Pope John Paul II.

Monday saw the fourth consecutive day of anti-government protests and a sit-in of opposition MPs in parliament, amid a political crisis sparked by planned new rules on media access to the legislature.
