Eurovision Junior: Polish contestant comes in 11th place

Polish singer Olivia Wieczorek garnered 11th place in the Eurovision Junior music competition held on Sunday.

The final of the 14th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which was held in Malta, was won by Georgian Mariam Mamadashvili, who gathered a total of 239 points.

Polish contestant Wieczorek, a 13-year-old singer from Jarocin, in central Poland, received 60 points, including 36 from the jury.

A total of 17 singers took part in the final. (rg)
