Russia's Michail Jurowski, one of Europe’s leading conductors, will perform on Saturday with the Polish Orchestra Sinfonia Iuventus.

The performance will include Beethoven’s Sixth Symphony “The Pastoral" and Richard Wagner’s “Siegfried Idyll” and “Liebestod”. Russian mezzosprano Irina Papenbrock will sing a solo in “Liebestod”.
Founded in 2007, Sinfonia Iuventus brings together the most talented students and graduates of Polish music academies. It has performed with many high-calibre conductors and soloists and is a member of the European Federation of National Youth Orchestras.
Michail Jurowski is the orchestra’s Principal Guest Conductor and a member of its Artistic Board. (mk/vb)
