Between 7 April and 1 May they will perform during the Silver Dollar City World Fest.

An annual international event in Branson, Missouri, it brings together actors, dancers, musicians and other artists presenting the unique culture of their nations.

It is expected that the performances of Polish folk and national dances by the Śląsk ballet group at the Opera House in Branson will attract an audience of over 60,000. Each show will be preceded by a film promoting Poland.

It is the 13th visit to the United States by the Śląsk Folk Song and Dance Ensemble. Most recently, its choir and orchestra performed Polish Christmas carols in Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland and New York at the end of last year. (mk/nh)
