The 10th Reggaeland festival, which finishes on Saturday, will as usual take place on a beach on the banks of the Vistula river in central Płock, about 100 km north of Warsaw.

Other foreign acts include Mellow Mood, Chezidek and Lion Dm, while Polish bands include Marika, Grubson, Bednarek and Damian SyjonFam, and Mesajah and Roots Rockets and a legend of the Polish reggae scene, Daab.

Headlining this year’s festival will be a concert by the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, a 10-person Japanese ska and jazz band formed in 1988. Its sound is an eclectic mix of traditional ska, jazz and rock.

Another star feature of the event will be reggae veteran Al Campbell. (jh)
