One of the honour that goes with the prestigious prize is a recital at Carnegie Hall scheduled for June.
''I am the happiest teenager in the world,'' she told journalists.
Sara was born in Legnica, south-western Poland, where she currently attends a secondary music school. Both of her parents and sister are violinists.
She has already performed with many orchestras and has appeared in numerous venues in Poland and abroad (France, Russia, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia). (mk/nh)
