Williams' Krakow gig has been confirmed for 17 April 2015 as part of the singer's 'Let me Entertain you Tour,' which begins in Madrid on 25 March.

The singer, who began his career in 1991 with boy band Take That, later rebelled against the group's fluffy image, and his struggles with substance abuse were widely publicised in the press.

He launched a successful solo career, but later rejoined Take That for a spell, between 2010 and 2012.

Earlier this week, Williams' wife gave birth to the couple's second child, Charlton Valentine, at a US hospital.

The singer posted a clip from the birth on social media site Twitter, together with the comment that “no Moms were harmed” during the making of the video.

Williams' Krakow gig was arranged through Live Nation, with whom the Krakow Festival Office has also booked the forthcoming concerts of Katy Perry (24 February 2015), Sting and Paul Simon (13 March) and Mark Knopfler (13 July). (nh)
