Three days before the beginning of Poland's six-month EU presidency, Greenpeace want to encourage the government to work towards “environmentally friendly solutions in Europe”.
The giant football was received by Environment Minister Andrzej Kraszewski.
Plans for the EU presidency, starting 1 July, have been criticised for not including more emphasis on cutting back on CO2 emissions and other environmental projects. (pg)
