A new study by financial services company HSBC named Switzerland as the best place to live and work as an expat.
The No. 2 spot went to Singapore, which had previously topped the list four years in a row.
Rounding out the annual league table of the world’s top 10 destinations for expatriates were Canada, Spain, New Zealand, Australia, Turkey, Germany, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.
HSBC surveyed a total of 18,059 expats across 163 markets for its Expat 2019 Global Report.
The survey evaluated countries on a variety of criteria including family life, career opportunities and ease of settling in, Poland’s PAP news agency reported.
