The five-times-a-week service started this week from Szczecin-Goleniów Airport, targeting tourists, businesspeople and Poles working in the Danish capital, Poland’s PAP news agency has reported.

It quoted the Danish ambassador to Poland, Ole Egberg Mikkelsen, as saying that the new connection could help boost business ties between Poland and Denmark, which are neighbours across the Baltic Sea.

Poland's Szczecin-Goleniów Airport served a total of 598,000 passengers last year, the PAP news agency reported.
