“Our foreign policy goals are convergent, above all when it comes to security,” Czaputowicz told reporters at a joint news conference with Pompeo in Warsaw.
"Our conversation confirmed that relations between our two countries are excellent,” Czaputowicz said.
He added that his talks with Pompeo ahead of an international conference in Warsaw on the Middle East focused on “the most important issues in bilateral relations and in international politics.”
Pompeo arrived in Poland on Tuesday ahead of the “Ministerial to Promote a Future of Peace and Security in the Middle East,” an international conference being organised jointly by Poland and the United States.
US Vice President Mike Pence was scheduled to arrive in the Polish capital on Wednesday.
