As well as meeting Jarosław Kaczyński, the head of Poland’s governing Law and Justice (PiS) party, Salvini is expected to hold talks with Polish Interior Minister Joachim Brudziński, the state news agency in Warsaw, PAP, cited Italian officials as saying on Friday.
Salvini, who is also deputy prime minister, is the leader of the right-wing League party, one of the two in Italy’s ruling coalition.
Italian daily la Repubblica reported on Thursday that Salvini and Kaczyński would discuss striking a deal ahead of elections to the European Parliament in May.
While in Warsaw, Salvini will also meet Italian entrepreneurs at his country’s embassy in Poland, according to media reports.
