Eighteen people have been charged with smuggling tonnes of drugs from Spain and trafficking in Poland.

Two of those people have also been charged with participating in an organised crime ring that allegedly smuggled nearly two tonnes of marihuana across Europe between June 2015 and May 2017.
Others among the suspects, aged 20-46, were additionally charged with smuggling about three kilograms of cocaine from The Netherlands to Poland.
They face up to 15 year in jail for smuggling drugs within the European Union and 12 years for trafficking. (vb/pk)
