The talks focused on military collaboration, “security... in this part of Europe” and economic collaboration, including the purchase of US military equipment by Poland, Kaczyński told journalists after the event.

Security issues and boosting the US military presence in Poland were some of the main items on the agenda of talks between President Andrzej Duda and Tillerson on Friday.

While in Warsaw, the US secretary of state also met Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz. (aba/pk)
