Polish FM meets with German, French ambassadors

Poland’s Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski has met with the German and French ambassadors in Warsaw to discuss the future of cooperation as part of the Weimar Triangle, the Polish foreign ministry said.

According to a tweet by the German ambassador, Rolf Nikel, this was a “very productive meeting" that was "held in a relaxed atmosphere."
On 21 September, deputy foreign ministers from the three countries are set to meet for consultations in Berlin, with Poland expected to be represented by Bartosz Cichocki.
Last year marked 25 years since the founding of the Weimar Triangle, a platform for collaboration between Warsaw, Berlin and Paris. (gs/pk)
