A British court found the teenager guilty of manslaughter. He will be sentenced on 8 September.

On 27 August the teenager knocked Polish man Arkadiusz Jóźwik to the ground outside a Harlow shopping mall. Jóźwik injured his head and brain and died in hospital two days later.

The British teenager was detained three days after the attack but said he was innocent and had been acting in self-defence. (vb)
