Chinese man may face jail for drone in Warsaw

A 29-year-old Chinese tourist may face up to a year in jail after allegedly flying a drone over the Royal Castle in the Polish capital without a permit.

The city’s security cameras first picked up on the machine and City Hall staff notified police, who then detained the man.
According to police, the man admitted to owning the drone and said he did not know a permit was required to fly over Warsaw. (vb/pk)
