No reports of Polish victims in Manchester attack

There are no reports of Polish victims of a suspected terrorist attack that killed 19 people in the UK on Monday night, Polish government spokesman Rafał Bochenek has said.

At least 19 were killed and 59 were hospitalised after a bomb exploded at an entrance to Manchester Arena, which holds up to 21,000, shortly after a concert by American popstar Ariana Grande.
The Polish consulate in Manchester, northwestern UK, said that it was in touch with local authorities regarding possible Polish victims.
Witnesses of the incident reported a “loud noise” and an explosion. Some said the attack was a suicide bombing while others said victims had shrapnel wounds.
But police have not revealed any details.
Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Theresa May said that the government was investigating the suspected terror attack. A crisis response team will meet on Tuesday.
If a terrorist attack is confirmed, it will be the biggest since the 2005 London bombings which killed 56, including three Poles, and injured nearly 800 others. (vb/pk)
