Duda met the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mladen Ivanić, during a trilateral meeting in the north of Slovenia.
“Poland supports Bosnia’s aspirations for EU membership and, if there were such aspirations, also for NATO membership,” Duda said.
“We want to build peaceful and good relations between our peoples,” he added.
Commenting on the recent government crackdown on protesters in Belarus, Duda said: “I was disappointed to learn how Belarusian authorities are acting against the opposition”.
On Monday, Duda will travel to Ljubljana where he will meet Slovenian Prime Minister Miro Cerar, as well as the Speaker of the National Assembly, Milan Brglez.
Later in the day, the Polish president and his Slovenian counterpart will close the Slovenian Investment Forum.
