The details of Poland’s involvement are still to be worked out, Macierewicz told reporters during a meeting of NATO defence ministers in Brussels on Wednesday.
“We had preliminary talks about reconnaissance operations, we had preliminary talks about training activities. How it will finally pan out, we will decide in the coming weeks," he added.
Last November, in the wake of terror attacks in Paris that killed 130 people, Poland said it was ready to help fight against the so-called Islamic State. (pk)
