The move follows a decision by Warsaw to revoke the residency permit of a Russian journalist who was accused of spying.
The Russian authorities told Gazeta Wyborcza journalist Wacław Radziwinowicz he had 30 days to leave the country and revoked his press accreditation. The foreign ministry in Moscow informed him of the decision on Friday.
Last week, Russian journalist Leonid Sviridov left Poland after the head of the Office for Foreigners upheld a decision by the Governor of the Mazowsze region to revoke his residence permit.
Sviridov insisted that accusations of spying for his home country were false. (pk/rg)
