At a joint press conference in the Polish capital Warsaw, Prime Minister Kopacz pointed out that the Temer’s visit to the country is the first over many years of high-level meetings between Poland and Brazil.

“This is a historic moment in our relations […] we are witnessing a new start in bilateral relations,” PM Kopacz pointed out.

According to the Polish Treasury Ministry, Brazil is Poland’s “biggest trading partner in Latin America” and rose last year by over 12 percent to almost USD 1.7 billion. (rg/rk)
