It is still unclear whether the US will be able to sell Tomahawk missiles to Poland due to technical difficulties, Ambassador Stephen Mull said.

“Until now Tomahawks have been used on US-made submarines. If Poland decides to buy another type of vessel, we must examine whether they can be used there,” Ambassador Mull told the TVN24 broadcaster.
Mull said that the only foreign country which has previously purchases Tomahawks was the UK.
The Ambassador denied, however, he is suggesting that the Polish government also purchase US submarines.
“I know that the Polish government is interested in other types of vessels [ships]. We will respect that,” Mull said and added that the United States has not received any requests for the purchase of sea-faring vessels. (rg)
