Polish soldier dies from wounds received in Afghanistan

The 32 year-old corporal served in the 12th Mechanized Brigade and left behind a wife and a daughter.

Łukasz Sroczyński was wounded late last year when his patrol was shot at by unknown assailants in the south western part of Ghazni province in eastern Afghanistan.

Corporal Sroczyński became the 41st Polish soldier to die in Afghanistan. (pg)
